Trees are a hot topic around the world these days and on the weekend of Saturday 30th Nov & Sunday 1st December there will be many tree planting events taking place around the UK, in aid of this particular campaign. Look for tree planting events via social media. Or organise your own tree planting event. Connect with land owners, schools, community support groups and locate willing volunteers via social media. There are many people out there wishing to plant trees and are looking for opportunities to do so. The Woodland Trust sell trees and offer free tree packs to schools or communities. You can purchase trees from your local garden centre or even grow your own.

Trees are some of the oldest living organisms on the planet. They provide habitat for wildlife, reduce flooding, keep our soils healthy, regulate weather patterns, stabilise climate, produce oxygen and absorb toxic CO2's from the atmosphere. They play a vital role in sustaining life; keeping us safe and healthy.

Trees and forests are vital to wildlife & humanity. They play a substantial role in climate solutions.

Woodlands are a place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of modern day living. Connecting the human senses to a woodland environment; positively improves mental health and well-being. There are many different reasons to plant trees and most importantly; protect the last remaining ancient forests left in the UK and around the world. Ancient forests are irreplaceable habitats; once they are gone there is no getting them back. Support the work of organisations which are effectively reforesting or regenerating degraded ecosystems, planting trees and encouraging sustainable development. Seeds are the currency of the future.

Are you a land owner?

Are you a private land owner or know of any land owners who would be willing to open up their land space to possible tree planting initiatives, forest gardens, agroforestry or permaculture projects?

Different organisations, businesses, charities & companies are looking to partner with various people for many types of projects involving tree planting, environmental education, forest regeneration, permaculture and agroforestry.

Please get in touch with Wildeye Adventures if you would like to find out more about how to develop personal land space into a place of outdoor & environmental education with either schools, communities or the general public. Creative projects involving tree planting, outdoor education, environmental activities, woodland conservation or creating forest gardens within schools & communities.

Introducing R.A.I.N. (Regenerative Agroforestry Impact Network)

R.A.I.N. supports reforestation and agroforestry projects in Brazil. Over 90% of the Brazilian Atlantic forest has been lost over the last 300 years, devastating the water cycle, soil health and biodiversity of this precious habitat. This has resulted in widespread flooding, urban water shortages and poor harvests. RAIN is part of the solution, supporting reforestation and agroforestry programmes led by frontline communities in the battle to regenerate the land.

Agroforestry is a highly effective technique for regenerating degraded land and helping communities become more resilient to the effects of climate change.

Wildeye Adventures is connected to R.A.I.N. and provides support in communications, project development, education and creative media. Working together to create tree planting initiatives, outdoor & environmental education, reforestation schemes, forest gardens & permaculture projects within the UK & abroad. Connecting with land owners, schools and communities that are wishing to develop potential land into a self-sustaining habitat for wildlife.

Connect with Wildeye Adventures for further information on environmental causes, campaigns, tree news, bushcraft & survival camps, woodland events and retreats.

Connect with R.A.I.N. to learn more about agroforestry, syntropic farming, permaculture and reforestation projects.
