Welcome to Wildeye Adventures, guaranteed to bring out your wild side. 

Yara Ghrewati is a Survival & Bushcraft Instructor working in woodlands and rainforests in the UK and abroad. Her skills have taken her all over the world from the deserts of Wadi Rum, to the jungles of the Amazon and South East Asia. 

​

Having worked in the outdoor industry for around 10 years alongside different Expedition Leaders, Ex-Army and Royal Marines on various conservation projects and overseas expeditions.

Yara now leads and manages camps for various outdoor companies in the UK. 

She is passionate about connecting people to the outdoors and shares her skills to inspire others to connect to the environment and natural world.

Wildeye Adventures was founded with the mission of sharing affordable outdoor skills & education to city dwellers in the aims of promoting self-reliance, environmental awareness and personal responsibility towards the natural world.

Raising awareness on nature science, ancient trees & forests, environmental campaigning and tree & forest conservation in the UK and internationally.

On this Wildeye Adventure experience you will be hiring Yara as your personal bushcraft instructor. You will be provided with a location to meet somewhere in UK and that's where the camping adventure will begin. You will travel to your chosen location where you will meet Yara, who will take you to a camping spot somewhere. You will learn bushcraft & survival skills providing you with memorable & independent overnight camping experience in wild woodlands.

Campers in the Woods

We understand how the stress of a city life may take it's toll at times, it's nice to unplug from a busy urban environment and connect to the real world, the natural world. 

​

This experience is for people who wish to escape the rat race and to explore the great outdoors with a creative, trustworthy, knowledgable and experienced bushcraft instructor. You will experience secluded time in nature away from the crowds, in a spot of natural beauty.

For individuals, a small group of friends (max 6 people) or any couples who fancy an adventure out in woodlands.

Somewhere in a beautiful woodland location in either England or Wales for a wild bushcraft experience.

Wildeye Adventures makes the effort to get to know our clients and what to find out what they seek out of the whole experience. Whether you want relaxing time away, or you wish to spend time walking in nature more or maybe you wish to learn bushcraft skills to improve confidence for future expeditions. 

The adventure will be designed and planned to suit the personal requirements of each individual, couple or group.

This particular experience is not for big groups or children, this is an adult only personally catered wild camping experience, you will travel by your own means to the location site and then let the adventure begin.

​​​This is a weekend long experience beginning early on either Friday or Saturday morning and ending Sunday late afternoon.

Longer weekends may be required for further locations.

​

  • Pick up | Meet Up will early either Friday or Saturday morning

Outdoor Cooking

WOODLAND LOCATION:

You will travel to a location somewhere in UK. It really depends on what you want and how adventurous you are willing to get. The location can either be based in one of our woodland locations in Kent, a bit closer to London, in either High Brooms or in Sevenoaks.

Or if you're wanting to get further and wilder, somewhere in the UK in one of the chosen locations. Fo the wilder locations, you will be provided with the route and meet up location after booking is complete.

FOOD & WATER

Your Wildeye Adventure experience will be self-catered. You are required to supply your own food & water for the duration of the camp.

OVERNIGHT CAMP: 

​

2 x Lunches

1 x Evening Meal to cook over a fire \ camp stove

x Breakfast 

Daytime Snacks (Fruits, energy or cereal bars or trail mix)

You will be cooking your own food over an open fire come rain or shine, so please be prepared with back-ups snacks, if you have a camping gas stove then please bring it along as a precaution. British weather is unpredictable. but hopefully with a sufficient dry wood supply, rain water will not stop you from camping overnight in the woods. 

Hiking

KIT

You will be provided with a kit list beforehand via email. You do not need lots of expensive equipment for this experience, but you will need to wear appropriate outdoor clothing and a good pair outdoor trainers or boots. A small day pack and water carrier is required as well a sleeping bag, roll \ foam mat and travel pillow. 

PRICING:

It depends on which location you wish to venture to, group size and the length of your experience. Prices can range from in between £125 to £250 per person depending on the location and duration. If you have an idea, any thoughts or questions, please make an enquiry and contact us to discuss your possible Wildeye Adventure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Wildeye Adventures shares outdoor education in the aims to promote a connection to the natural world and self-sufficiency. Please be aware that you are responsible for your own health and safety whilst on camp.

Please ensure that you bring any required medications needed with you and take personal responsibility for them. We cannot carry or look after any medications on your behalf. 

Please be aware that we encourage having a strong sense of awareness towards the environment whilst on camp, bring rubbish bags to take away any rubbish you may have off camp. Do not leave any litter in the woods. Please do not burn plastic on camp fires as this can create toxic chemicals which may be harmful to health and the environment. Please do not burn any cans or glass bottles on fires. If not burned out properly they can leave behind sharp objects which may harm wildlife.

Woodlands are always full of uneven grounds, falling branches and other risks to be aware of. Please ensure you always wear suitable clothes and footwear whilst spending time in woodlands. 

​

Absolutely no hunting, harming or the killing of wildlife is allowed in any of the woodland locations. 

​

Wildeye Adventure camps are all self-catered. Wildeye Adventures instructors are not responsible for any food you bring on camp and all food is your own responsibility. There are no shops in the woods so do organise yourself or your group before arrival on camp and come prepared for an overnight experience in the woods. 

​

Wildeye Adventures does not supply any food for evening meals.

There are no kitchen facilities on camp, after bushcraft  training your camp is your own creation and you will be cooking food over an open fire.

​

Please bring a small first aid kit with you, self-treat & self-care if and when needed. Woodlands are a wild and natural environment. Be aware that there may be trip hazards from tree roots or uneven ground or sharp thorns, observation skills are needed.

Look out for any poisonous or stinging plants such as Foxglove, Nettles, Bracken or Bramble.

Wildeye Adventures instructors are not responsible for any injuries or illnesses that may occur whilst on camp. We will happily share our first aid advice and offer friendly support but your personal health is in your own hands please.

Yara Ghrewati is an experienced outdoor instructor specialising in bushcraft & survival, qualified in Archery & Outdoor First Aid with a DBS certificate for working with schools and young people. Yara has trained in jungles with remote tribal communities, Ex-Army & Royal Marines as well as UK based expedition companies. She shares her outdoor skills to others to promote personal responsibility and self-reliance.

 

If you suffer from any physical or mental health issues, you should always inform us beforehand, for health and safety reasons. 

Wildeye Adventures is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses or any death that may occur whilst on outdoor camping adventures.

You are choosing to travel to the woods at your own choice and risk.
