Bushcraft Workshops for Schools
Wildeye Adventures is a leading outdoor and environmental education company, specialising in bushcraft and survival skills. We partner with both UK & international schools to deliver immersive, hands-on experiences that build resilience, teamwork, and a deep connection to nature. We are dedicated to promoting outdoor and environmental education, encouraging a deeper connection to nature, while instilling respect for the environment.
Our highly experienced instructors create dynamic and engaging learning experiences in woodland environments, fostering independence, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills. We work with KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5, KS6, as well as youth, social and community groups.
Through immersive outdoor activities, we encourage young people to step outside their comfort zones, discover new skills and build resilience, independent thinking and leadership abilities. By learning to observe and analyze the natural environment, participants develop essential decision-making skills for challenging situations. Our programs also promote digital detox, allowing young people to take a break from technology and reconnect with the natural world - developing valuable survival skills along the way.
Outdoor Learning that Builds Confidence, Teamwork and Resilience
Spending time in nature plays a crucial role in psychological development. Learning survival skills teaches resilience, self-sufficiency and the value of a positive mindset—essential qualities for personal growth. By stepping outside their comfort zones, students build confidence and develop a greater appreciation for the natural world.
Our instructors emphasise environmental awareness, educating participants on the importance of protecting ecosystems and respecting wildlife. Through immersive outdoor experiences, we introduce young people to a world beyond screens - one filled with adventure, discovery and inspiration.

Bushcraft takes place outdoors and learning to work with the natural environment is part of the experience. In most cases, sessions can still run safely in typical British weather such as light rain or colder conditions.
Participants will be advised to wear appropriate outdoor clothing, including waterproof jackets and sturdy footwear.
In the case of severe weather conditions (such as high winds or storms) that could affect safety, the session may be rescheduled to a later date. Our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Many groups find that learning bushcraft in varied weather actually adds to the experience and helps participants develop resilience and adaptability outdoors.

Testimonials
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I arranged a bushcraft experience for a group of primary-aged children, and from the very beginning, Yara was professional, efficient and highly responsive. The session was incredibly well-structured and very reasonably priced considering the lasting impact on the children. They learned essential skills, including knot-tying, den-building, fire-making and team challenges. Every single child was engaged, enthusiastic and left with a sense of achievement. A truly fantastic experience, we will definitely be booking again!”
Stephanie | Teacher | Sarratt Church of England School
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great workshops on jungle skills by Yara. We heard stories of traveling the globe on adventures we only read about or see on TV, truly life changing experiences. Students were enthralled at her stories and at the end many stayed behind to ask questions. Yara is a fantastic role model and true advocate for nature!"
Mark Petheram | Teacher | International School of Hague
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yara was great. She was brilliant addressing our lower six form boys: it’s rare to see so many of them listening, so attentively! Her hard-core credentials were established with stories about leeches, jungles and tribes, it was an inspiring message throughout. How we can all make a difference through thoughtful conservation and applied action. Trees and woods have a great advocate in Yara. I know the boys were looking at trees and woods differently the next morning!"
Michael Herring, Assistant Head of Upper School and Teacher of History | Merchant Taylors School
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Year 5 at Marish and Willow Primary school have just had a week of the most amazing Design and Technology trips. The children enjoyed: Den building, water purification and setting fires safely and then they finished off with toasting marshmallows!
Mrs Dames | Teacher | Sarratt Church of England School
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As part of my school’s Adult Mental Health and Environment Teams, I thought this would be a fantastic opportunity for our staff to experience something new in nature. Yara was fantastic! She encouraged us to fully engage with our surroundings, she shared fascinating insights into how trees communicate andhow forests strengthen our immune system. Her knowledge and passion truly captivated our group. By the time we returned we felt relaxed, calm and refreshed. My colleagues messaged me the next morning, still feeling the benefits of the experience. 10/10 We’re already planning our next session!"
Ben Wingrove | Marish Academy School, Langley, Slough
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everyone enjoyed Wildeye’s session. Definitely did exactly as requested. It was lovely to communicate throughout, very prompt and well organised"
Henrietta Englefield | Colfe’s School
