SURVIVAL MYSTERY MISSION

This unique & exciting course is for those who enjoy theatrics and who dare to brave the woods overnight.

Do not expect a zombie shoot out or to be running around shooting zombies. This is not your ordinary zombie experience but more about stealth, resilience, endurance and abilities avoid what dangers may be lurking in the woods. Work together to solve a mystery laid out before you and uncover the story throughout the experience.

Your quest will include survival training on natural shelter building, fire lighting, search and rescue, camouflage and concealment, basic first aid, SOS signalling and more.

At the start you will meet a leader at the check point who will give you a top secret mission. You'll be given a safety briefing, relevant clues to begin your quest and the survival training you need to set you up for a night in the woods. Be prepared, there are things that lurk in the woods at night that will keep you alert.

You'll be trained on survival skills through the course, however, instructors will play a role within the storyline. You will navigate your way through the woods to solve mysteries and challenges. Completing activities, collecting relevant items along route, foraging for useful items. 

You may encounter characters along the journey. Some may help you out and some may not. You must use your wits and beware of the zombies that lurk through the woods. Stay far away from them.

You will have to hide & avoid them at all costs. They move slowly, but if they spot you, you'll be in trouble!

Your survival will be in your ability to hide, escape and evade, problem solve, be stealth, observant and use your surroundings to your advantage. The elements may be working against you, this is England. You'll have to survive overnight in the woods whatever distractions lay before you.

You will be traveling light on this course and will need minimal equipment to test out survival abilities. Please bring a sleeping bag (3 season) and a roll\foam mat.

Outdoor equipment foods and tools will be provided on this course. However, you are required to dress appropriately for the woods and be prepared for an overnight outdoor experience whatever the weather. 

 

Suitable outdoor trainers or boots are needed. A waterproof jacket and appropriate outdoor clothing. You will be sent a kit list and be informed on what you need to bring via email before arriving on camp.

FOOD & WATER

There is drinking water on site. Camp food will be supplied on this particular course but you are required to bring along a packed lunch, a filled bottle of water and snacks for the day. Please inform us beforehand of any allergies or any dietary requirements you may have so we can adapt to suit your needs.

This experience is encouraging personal self-reliance and promoting self-responsibility.

You will be camping and cooking your own food over an open fire come rain or shine in the evening time, so please be prepared with back-ups snacks.

British weather is unpredictable but hopefully with the cracking shelter you would have built  and with your sufficient wood collection supply for fire, rain water will not stop you from surviving a night in the woods.

FAQ's

What shall I bring?

You will be provided with a kit list via email before arriving on camp. You will need minimal equipment and immerse you in the experience getting you into survival mode. You will need to carefully read through the risk assessment form and please print and sign the booking form.

Bring the signed booking form with you on arrival.

Is food provided?

You are required to bring a filled bottle of water, a packed lunch and fruit & snacks for the first day. You will be provided an evening meal and breakfast the morning after. If you have any food allergies or intolerances please inform us before arriving on camp.

Are there any toilets?

There are no toilets on site so please be prepared in going back to the basics, It'll all be a part of your outdoor survival experience. Bring enough toilet tissue and hand sanitiser with you. You will be given briefing on woodland awareness before taking part.

What if it's raining?

In the occasion of severe wind and rainfall. Zombie Survival Quest may be subject to re-scheduling or cancellation due to health and safety reasons. However, don't let light rain stop you from testing your abilities. If it isn't raining, then it isn't training! 

Please bring a waterproof jacket and trousers.

How challenging will it be?

This experience will test your endurance, stamina and problem solving abilities. You will be given instructions, clues and challenges along the journey.

The experience is what you make it, and the story will unfold as you go along.

Is there parking?

Parking is available for car and vans only, not coaches or any large vehicles as roads are narrow. In wet weather, please do not drive on to the grass or fields.

Why would I want to take part in this experience?

For good fun! Everything is so bubble wrapped these days due to health and safety reasons. Please understand you are going into the woods at your own risk.

There will be fun, there will be action. There will be a mission for you to complete, you'll navigate, solve puzzles. All will be revealed.

The question is, do you have what it takes to face what lies in the woods?

Is this a zombie shoot out?

Not at all. This is not what you would expect. You are not going to be running around in the woods and shooting at zombies. The aim is to avoid zombies, at all costs. DO NOT ATTACK THE ZOMBIES. This will lead to an ambush and you will instantly fail the mission.

There will be an opportunity to practise archery shooting at zombie targets.

Before entering the site, an instructor will meet you. This experience involves a theatrical theme, you will meet and face different characters in the woods. Some may be helpful, other's not. You will be left to make choices, personal judgements and decide which path you should take. So hopefully you don't take the wrong one.

But there's only one way to find out... 

What is the age limit?

Zombie Survival Camp is for adults only aged 18+ to 65 years old. If you have an injury or illness, are pregnant or suffer from any health issues that may effect your experience. Please inform our instructors beforehand and make sure you fill in the booking form accurately and sign before arriving on site.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Wildeye Adventures shares outdoor education in the aims to promote  self-sufficiency. Please be aware that you are responsible for your own health and safety whilst on camp. You will be required to read a risk assessment, complete a form stating any health issues and sign a booking form before attending "Ouarantine" camp

Please ensure that you bring any required medications needed with you and take personal responsibility for them. We cannot carry or look after any medications on your behalf. 

Please be aware that we encourage having a strong sense of awareness towards the environment whilst on camp. Do not leave any litter in the woods.

Do not burn plastic on camp fires as this can create toxic chemicals which may be harmful to health and the environment.

Please do not burn any cans or glass bottles on fires. If not burned out properly they can leave behind sharp objects which may cause harm to wildlife.

Wildeye Adventures supplies food on this particular course. Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary requirements you may have before attending.

Quarantine promotes a horror theme and is not for the light hearted. If you have any heart conditions, suffer from epilepsy, mental health problems or have any other medical conditions that may effect you whilst on the course, please make sure you let us know before attending.

You will receive via email a risk assessment and course description. You are required to fill out and sign a booking. 

There are no kitchen facilities on camp, after survival training your camp is your own creation. The experience is what you make of it.

You will be cooking food over an open fire come rain or shine. You will be advised on what to bring before attending and be given a description of what to expect this course.

 

When you enter the woods you will be entering into a theatrical themed scene. Instructors will be acting out a role, as well leading and instructing. 

​

Please bring a small first aid kit with you or any relevant medications you require. Self-treat & self-care if and when needed. Woodlands are a wild and natural environment. Be aware that there may be trip hazards from tree roots or uneven ground, observation skills are needed. Look out for poisonous or stinging plants such as Foxglove, Nettles or Bramble and do not eat any wild foods (such as fungi, nuts or berries) you may encounter.

Wildeye Adventures instructors are not responsible for any injuries or illnesses that may occur whilst on camp. We will happily share our first aid advice and offer friendly support but your personal health is in your own hands please. If there is an emergency, then you will need to dial 999.
